Abstract:
Causality is an ancient concept, which is central to much of the scientific methodology, as well as the legal and regulatory systems.
In this talk, we first review some of our recent work on trust and trustworthiness for autonomous systems.
Then, we discuss the concept of causality and present some recent applications of actual causality in autonomous systems, including applications in explainability and insurance.
