A new three-parameter distribution é o título do seminário de estatística, a ser promovido em conjunto pelo ICMC-USP e a UFSCar nesta sexta-feira, 8 de junho, às 14h30 na sala de seminários da DEs-UFSCar.
A palestra será ministrada pelo Prof. Saralees Nadarajah, da University of Manchester. Segue abaixo o resumo, em inglês:
In this talk, I will introduce a new three parameter distribution motivated by lifetime issues. Some properties of the new distribution including estimation procedures, univariate generalizations and bivariate generalizations are derived. A real data application is described to show superior performance versus at least fifteen of the known lifetime models.
